Create a New Borehole

Start by adding basic borehole information: ID, location coordinates, ground level and total depth. You can add multiple boreholes to build up your site investigation.

2

Add Stratigraphy

Enter geological layers with depth ranges, descriptions, colours and classifications. The borehole schematic updates in real time so you can see exactly how your log will look.

3

Enter Sample Data

Record sample types and depths to create a complete borehole record with visual markers on the schematic.

4

Generate 2D Cross-Sections

Select two or more boreholes and Subcores will interpolate geological boundaries to create a professional cross-section. Adjust the interpolation settings and vertical exaggeration to match your interpretation.

Build 3D Geological Models Professional+

Generate a full 3D geological model from your borehole data. Subcores uses IDW interpolation to create geological surfaces and volumetric layers that you can rotate, zoom and explore interactively.

Export & Share

Export your borehole logs, cross-sections and 3D models in multiple formats. Use high-resolution PNG for reports, PDF for printing, or interactive HTML for digital delivery to clients.
